Before Your Interview

  1. Take-Home Assignment Submit the fulltime-challenge or intern-challenge before your interview. We will review your submission during the technical assessment component of the interview.

  2. Interview Preparation Take some time to review our background and projects available on our website.

Interview Structure

The interview includes a technical assessment component and a behavioral component, roughly 20 minutes each.

  • For the technical assessment, we will review the take-home assignment you submitted and ask you to explain your thought process and decisions. We will also ask you about making improvements to your solution.

  • For the behavioral component, we use the STAR interview format and expect the answers to be responded in such a way. STAR stands for Situation, Task, Action and Result. Be prepared with detailed examples of your past experiences and how you handled specific situations. For example:

    • Describe a time when you had to make a difficult decision. What was the situation and how did you handle it?
    • Tell me about a time when you had a conflict with a teammate. What was the situation and how did you handle it?

We will also leave time for you to ask us questions about the company and the role.

During Your Interview

Please be on time. We expect you to be on time for your interview. If you are running late, please let us know as soon as possible. Interviews are booked back-to-back, so we may not be able to accommodate you if you are late.

The interviewer is expected to take notes during the interview. Please don’t worry if they are not looking at you while you are talking.

Although we are not Amazon, we do adopt from their interview process.

Post-Interview

You should expect to hear back from us within 1 week of your interview.
